Sony camcorders are in many people's opinion just superb. Do I own one? Yes I do. What are they really like though?
This brand of camcorders is popular due to it's wide variety and lots of innovative features, plus you can pick them up these days for quite a pleasing price. To be blunt, Sony's camcorders are, in my opinion, among the best.
These little beauties come fitted with an Easy Handycam mode, which makes operating the camcorder an absolute breeze. If you've used other brands before and had to read the manual over and over you'll know exactly what I mean. Indeed Sony camcorders are extremely popular for their ease of use whilst also being a favorite amongst the point and shoot enthusiasts.
Being available in High Definition or Standard Definition and using popular recording media such as HD, DVD, and MiniDV, these camcorders go a long way to making many folk very happy with their purchase. Don't forget about the features like MPEG movie recording and night time recording using Sony's Super Night Shot Plus system, actually enabling you to record in the darkest of conditions with absolutely no problem at all.
The Sony Camcorder I personally have is a gem where I simply record onto mini DVD's. After recording, all I need do is "finalise" my disc which takes a click of a button and less than two minutes, and then I put my feet up and watch the DVD on my television, and yes, the quality is second to none.
If you're looking to buy a new camcorder then do think about Sony as they have some of the best camcorders out there, but of course do a little research first for your own piece of mind. I am sure you will come to the same conclusion as many other folk out there.
